About the department
The Construction Engineering department was formed, under Presidential Resolution PQ-416 of 8 November 2022, by merging six departments: Construction Mechanics and Strength of Materials; Buildings and Structures; Construction Technology and its Organisation; Production of Construction Materials, Products and Structures; Motor Roads, Foundations and Footings; and Construction Structures.
The merged department has operated since 10 August 2023 and is headed by Gofur Umrqulovich Karimov, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor. It is located in room 614 on the sixth floor of the university's main building.
