To mark the start of the new academic year, Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University held the opening ceremony of “Orientation Week 2025” for its first-year students.
Rector Dr. Chidem Turkyilmaz addressed the event, congratulating the first-year students on the unforgettable moment of beginning their student life and offering her warm wishes.
In the first two weeks of the 2025/2026 academic year, the university plans to hold a series of academic, social and cultural events as part of the “Orientation Week 2025” project.
The project's main goal is to help students adapt more quickly to university life and to give them a close introduction to the projects and contests organised for young people, the facilities created for them, and the study process.
