Fayziyev Zafar Xaydarovich is head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Samarkand State Technical University, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in technical sciences and an associate professor.
His research covers heat supply and energy efficiency based on renewable energy sources. Combining foreign and domestic innovative technologies with modern research, he pays particular attention to putting scientific results into practice.
He was awarded his PhD for research on protecting self-draining solar water heaters from freezing in winter and boiling in summer under Samarkand's conditions.
Today his students are continuing research in the same field. His work and devotion to science set an example for young researchers.
