Today a round-table discussion on “We are against drug abuse” was held at Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University.
The event was attended by Sherzod Bozorov, dean of the students' deanery, Captain Timur Karimov, the university's prevention inspector, Lieutenant Colonel Tolib Abduvaliyev of the Samarkand City Department of Internal Affairs, and students of the university.
During the meeting, detailed information was given on the harmful effects of drug use on human life and health. Tragic situations that can arise because of drug addiction were also explained to the students through concrete examples. The event closed with all participants stressing the need to promote a healthy lifestyle and stay away from harmful habits.
