A scientific seminar on “Studying the environment through night-time satellite imagery using GIS technologies” was held at Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University by Dr. Paul C. Sutton and Dr. Sharolyn Anderson, professors of the University of Denver in the USA.
The seminar was attended by the university's teaching staff, doctoral and master's students, who gained valuable knowledge and experience in the modern application of GIS technologies and in analysing environmental problems using satellite data.
