Within the framework of the Central Asian International Education Forum, our university signed several cooperation agreements with leading technical higher education institutions in the region. These agreements represent an important step towards translating the ideas promoted at the forum—namely, academic mobility, joint programmes and scientific cooperation—into practical outcomes.
A Memorandum of Understanding and a separate Agreement on Staff Exchange were signed with M.M. Adyshev Osh Technological University. The documents provide for the exchange of academic, research and administrative staff; the admission of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students for study and research; the preparation of applications for joint research projects; and the organisation of scientific conferences and short-term courses.
The cooperation agreement concluded with I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University covers the exchange of academic staff and students, joint research projects, the exchange of scientific and technical information, and the organisation of joint seminars and conferences. Under the agreement, our students and postgraduate researchers will have the opportunity to study at the partner university for one semester or one academic year.
The Memorandum signed with L.B. Goncharov Kazakh Automobile and Road Institute establishes a foundation for international academic exchange, the development and implementation of joint educational programmes, and collaborative research activities.
The signed documents lay a solid foundation for long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation with our colleagues in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Our next priority is to translate these agreements into concrete programmes, exchange opportunities and joint projects. We are confident that this cooperation will create new academic opportunities for our students and researchers.
