The meeting was attended by Juramirza Qayumov, First Vice-Rector for Strategic Development at SDTU, who was on an official visit to China, as well as the Dean of the School of International Relations and the Vice-Deans of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering at Taiyuan University of Technology.
The parties exchanged information about the activities of their respective faculties and departments and discussed prospects for future cooperation.
The following areas of cooperation were explored:
Establishing student and academic staff exchange programs;
Organizing summer schools;
Preparing and submitting joint project proposals;
Launching joint “2+2” degree programs.
Agreements to be reached at the leadership level of both universities in the coming days will lay the foundation for long-term cooperation.
