SDTU Representative Participates in an International Conference in China
On October 21–23, 2026, an international conference entitled “2026 Zhejiang International Conference on Industry, Education, Science and Technology Integration” is being held in Shaoxing and Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China. The event is organized by Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, an international partner of SDTU, and the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province.
Juramirza Qayumov, First Vice-Rector for Strategic Development of our university, is participating in the conference.
Leading experts and scholars from nearly 20 countries around the world are attending the event. The presentations primarily focus on the following topics:
The use of artificial intelligence in manufacturing;
The systematic implementation of robotics in practical applications;
Strengthening the integration between education and industry.
As part of the conference, a meeting was held with Hungay Eang, Vice-Rector of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology. The meeting focused on future cooperation between the two higher education institutions.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to expand cooperation in the following areas:
Enhancing the participation of academic staff in joint projects;
Developing student academic mobility;
Organizing professional development and internship programs for academic staff.
