A meeting aimed at strengthening educational and cultural ties between Uzbekistan and France was held at Samarkand State Technical University.
The prospects for cooperation with the Alliance Française of Samarkand were discussed. The purpose of the meeting was to establish working contact between Ms Alice Motte, representative of the Samrus Groupe project run under the French embassy in Tashkent, and the university's international relations staff.
Students studying in English and French were also given a presentation on Campus France and the opportunities to study in France. It covered grants, degree levels, admission procedures and the fields most open to applicants, and answered the students' questions.
