Under the guidance of President Sh. M. Mirziyoyev, and to fulfil point 6 of Order No. 60 issued at the videoconference of 13 December 2024 on the results of social-protection work in 2024 and priority tasks for 2025, and to create further conditions for raising young people's general-education knowledge through preparatory courses, Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University has launched preparatory courses for the 11th-grade pupils assigned to it, in fulfilment of Order No. 18 “On organising preparatory courses at higher education institutions for applicants, including the children of poor and low-income families in their graduating class”.
The courses are aimed at consolidating applicants' knowledge of general-education subjects; classes in physics, mathematics, computer science and English were launched in cooperation with the “Registrar's Office”, taught by the department's own faculty.
The preparatory courses launched play an important role in effectively organising the process of preparing for higher education and in creating further conditions for the children of families in need of social protection.
