Yesterday, during his working visit to the People's Republic of China, the university's Rector Dr. Chidem Turkyilmaz held a meeting with Mr. Li Xu, President of Hebei Chuangli (Canlee) Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd., and Ms. Chengqian, the company's sales manager.
Canlee is a high-tech enterprise founded in 2011 and based in Hebei Province, China, engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of laser cutting and welding equipment. The company holds the status of a "National High-Tech Enterprise" and a "Model Enterprise for Innovative Development."
For reference: a memorandum of mutual cooperation has been signed between the university and Canlee.
The following key agreements were reached at the end of the talks:
— creating an opportunity for the university's students to complete internships at Canlee;
— carrying out joint research;
— opening Canlee's Uzbekistan office alongside the university's Incubation Centre.
This agreement strengthens mutually beneficial cooperation and opens the way to a new stage bringing together science, industry and innovation.
