Yesterday, a seminar-training on “Vaccinating future professionals with honesty – a demand of the times” was held by the Anti-Corruption Compliance Control department of Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University, together with the Samarkand regional council of the Adolat Social Democratic Party.

The seminar-training was attended by Sherzod Uzoqov, the university's Vice-Rector for youth affairs and moral-educational work; Ravshan Davirov, head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Control department; Asqar Xoliqov, deputy chairman of the Adolat SDP's Samarkand regional council; Nargiza Fayziyeva, chief adviser of the Legal Information department of the Samarkand regional Directorate of Justice; and staff and students.

During the seminar-training it was stressed that corruption is a vice that obstructs the development of any state and society, and that all layers of society need to unite in the fight against it.

The seminar-training also featured a personal exhibition by Komronbek Muhammedov, a second-year student of the Faculty of Architecture, titled “There's no place for corruption in my life!”.
