The Women's Council of Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University held a scientific-practical seminar on “The role of women scientists in the development of science” under the slogan “I contribute to my country's progress through my scientific work”, marking 11 February — the International Day of Women in Science.
The seminar gave special recognition to the role of women researchers contributing to science. Alongside the university's women scientists, the event was attended by Sergazieva Madina Rasulkhanovna and Mutalieva Aygul Alimdjanovna, teaching staff of the Department of Business and Management of the Regional Innovation University in Shymkent, Republic of Kazakhstan, who shared their own research work.
The seminar was opened by Abror Gadaev, Vice-Rector for research and innovation, who wished the participants success in their scientific work. During the event, women scientists including Adolat Ziyotova, chair of the university's Women's Advisory Council, associate professor Mavluda Xudayarova, Umida Kurbonova and Musavvara Ibragimova shared their research work and findings.
