A festive event marking the 36th anniversary of Uzbek gaining State Language status was held at Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University.
During the event, students heard about the historical path of development of our native language, its place as a core value expressing our national identity and spirituality, and the need to develop and preserve our language culture.
Poems, music and songs glorifying our language and stage performances were presented at the festive event, further strengthening the sense of pride in, and devotion to, our native language among students and teaching staff.
