Today, a delegation representing Japan's SOAFS (Support Organization for Advanced Foreign Students Co., Ltd.) and PONTE Co., Ltd. visited Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University.
The guests met with University Rector Dr. Chidem Turkyilmaz and members of the leadership to discuss cooperation in the following areas:
— Placing students in jobs at major companies in Japan;
— In-depth teaching of the Japanese language and technical specialisations;
— Support for financing the education process.
During the visit, the university leadership welcomed these initiatives and said a cooperation memorandum with SOAFS and PONTE is planned to be signed in the near future.
