Major Voxid Fattoyev and Senior Lieutenant Jahongir Ergashev, inspectors of the Samarkand city emergency service, together with Sherzod Bozorov, dean of students of Samarkand State Technical University, and Maqsud Eshmurodov, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, inspected the rented flats where students live.
The heating systems, electrical fittings and gas appliances of the flats, and whether they are used safely, were examined closely.
The students were also briefed on what to do in the event of a fire and how to reach the emergency services.
