Within the fifth Uzbekistan-Japan rectors' forum, the leadership of Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State Technical University held talks on mutual cooperation with representatives of Japan's Nagoya University, Gifu University, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Kogakuin University, Tokai University and Tokyo Metropolitan University.
The talks discussed launching joint education and student-exchange programmes, organising internships and seminars for students, conducting joint research, and creating conditions for faculty to pursue professional development.
